A Few Remarks and a Recipe!

Firstly - I realized yesterday while cooking that I would cook much less without a dishwasher.

Secondly - Dr. Laura used an impressive word yesterday on her radio program - recalcitrant - which means, "marked by stubborn resistance to and defiance of authority or guidance". Nice locution.

Thirdly - Stephanie Plum is hilarious, Sookie is awesome, and Tolliver is an exceptional character name.

And for the body of the post:
I made Chinese Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls yesterday based off this recipe with just a few alterations.
Here's to sharing food formulae!

Filling - added more soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, cottage cheese, peas, garlic powder, mushrooms.

Ready to go
Salting
Boiling
Got to use my new Ikea tongs!

Sauteing the topping - Mung bean sprouts, onions, mushrooms and then a vinegar...reduction?

Ready to be filled

All rolled up
All covered and sauced up!

Sauce - soy sauce, teryaki baste, sweet chili sauce

Then I just baked it and voila!

 Chinese Style Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls.
